  I. PREPARATION FOR THE KINGDOM

A. Tribulation

1.     Will purge the world of unbelief

2.     Will purge the world of sin

3.     Will prepare Israel and the nations to receive Christ

B. Armageddon (Revelation 14:14-20; 16:13-16; 19:17-20)

1.     Christ destroys all opposing forces

2.     Destroys all unbelief - Revelation 19:18

3.     The populace that remains after Armageddon will enter into the Kingdom Age in

        belief --Romans 11:26


 II. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE KINGDOM

A. His people

            1. Reunited - Ezekiel 36:24; Jeremiah 32:41; I Chronicles 17:9

            2. Regenerated - Isaiah 45:17,25; 60:21; Jeremiah 31:34; 33:8,16;

                       Ezekiel 36:26; Zechariah 3:9; Romans 11:26

B. His land

            1. Reoranized - Ezekiel 47:21; Cf. Genesis 15:18-21; Joshua 13:1-19:51;

                       Ezekiel 47:13-48:29

            2. Reproductive - Isaiah 51:3; Ezekiel 36:33-38

C. His temple

            1. Re-erected - Zechariah 6:12; Acts 15:16,17

            2. Re-established - Isaiah 56:7; Ezekiel 44:15; Zechariah 14:16


III. TEST OF THE AGE - Whether or not man will live righteously upon the earth under the

           personal, benign reign of the Son of God

A. The conditions are to be ideal.

B. Satan is incarcerated - Revelation 20:1-3

C. The curse upon the earth removed - Isaiah 35:9

D. Peace and no war - Isaiah 2:4; 9:4-7; 11:6-9

E. Justice - Isaiah 9:7, Jeremiah 23:5

F. No sickness - Isaiah 33:24; Jeremiah 30:17; Ezekiel 34:16

G. Economic prosperity - Isaiah 35:1, 2, 7; Ezekiel 34:26; Zechariah 8:11, 12

H. Unified language - Zephaniah 3:9

I.       The manifest presence of God - Ezekiel 37:27, 28; Zechariah 2:10-13

J.       The fullness of the Spirit - Isaiah 32:13-15; 44:3; Joel 2:28, 29


IV. THE FAILURE

A. Never will it be easier for one to live a godly life.

B. Sin will enter.

1.      Through new generations born during the age

2.      Man will rebel and will be ruled with a rod of iron - Psalm 2:9

3.     Nations will refuse to cooperate with the program of God - Zechariah 14:16-19

4.     Sinners will accursed - Isaiah 65:20

5.     Satan will lead an insurrection at the end after he is freed from the pit --

        Revelation 20:3, 7-10


 V. THE JUDGMENT - Revelation 20:9,10

A. Fire destroys the rebellious

B. Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire

C. The earth is destroyed - II Peter 3:10-12


VI. THE INTERVENTION

A. God provides a new heaven and a new earth - Revelation 21:1, 2

B. Believers are escorted into eternity to enjoy His presence forevermore.


CONCLUSION:

1. Under every conceivable test man is shown to be a complete failure.

2. Through the various dealings in the dispensations it is proven to men.

3. There is no possible hope for man except the grace of God.
